Crimson Moon Boons Guide

Boons shape each Crimson Moon run. The official wiki separates Innate Boons from Temporary Boons, though it warns that the UI does not always communicate that distinction clearly.1

Boon Types

Innate Boons belong to persistent loadout or gear systems, while Temporary Boons are obtained during a run. The official wiki currently lists 91 Boons, and that count can change as the database is updated.1

Game8 documents Sanguine Slice, Resounding Charge, Reaper's Respite and Radiant Fortune with the effects below. Its Reaper's Respite value is 10 Health, while the wiki currently says 15; the table therefore flags the amount as disputed instead of choosing one.15

ExampleDocumented effect
Sanguine SliceAdds 100 Bleed
Resounding ChargeSprint hits restore 25 Stamina
Radiant FortuneAdds 50 maximum Health
Reaper's RespiteRestores Health after a kill; amount disputed

How Boons Enter a Build

Temporary Boons are selected during a run, including choices presented at Nexus Gates. Innate Boons remain attached to their equipment. Because the game UI does not always make the distinction clear, check whether an effect belongs to the item or only to the current run before planning around it.15

Rage, Parry and Purification

  • Rage and Enraged effects are part of the Boon pool and reward building around a specific combat state.1
  • Perfect Parry is recognized by an achievement, but no official source publishes exact parry-frame timing.2
  • Purified gear returns to the Collection as Common gear under the official run and gear rules.3

Transmog Status

Crimson Moon did not have transmog at launch. Appearance follows the armor pieces you equip.4
